When I first saw the pic, I cant help smiling.....not that I'm heartless, its just that I'm wondering, 'is this for real, or just an act?' to gain sympathy? For those who didnt know, KL Gangster 2 which is scheduled for screening in Malaysian and Singaporean cinemas on the 3rd of October had been pirated and uploaded for free in the internet in late August. Well I think its very unfair for these 'robbers' to kill the Malay film industry which is just about to turn around in recent years by the birth of young and talented film directors and producers. And I really hope the relevant Authority will seize the scum before more damages are done.
Anyway I've never been a malay-movie fan myself. In my entire life I've only watched about two Malay movies at the cinema and those two movies- though they had my fav star Zizan Razak as the main actor, still failed to prevent me from dozing off zzzzzzz....... And why did I fall asleep?? You tell me ...........
At home its a different story anyway, as I do watch most Malay dramas (those aired on sat nites esp - Cerekarama and the ones in the evenings fr 7-8 mon to thurs) as I find them quite interesting- at least the story line or the plot in general coz they are somehow related to our daily life. But I still dont watch the movies- I find them very slow moving, dragging and empty (like you dont gain anything from it).
In fact i did watch KL Gangster 1 on astro first (out of curiousity - as it was very much talked about in the media), and luckily I watched it @ home ~ so I could do other things while watching it). Had I watched it in the cinema - I swear, I definitely would coz anger to the people sitting next to me due my louddd snoring...;p
Why would I fall asleep? You tell me.....
